Hip pop-up with sustainable cosmetic products opens in Hasselt
From shampoo bars to sustainable Christmas gifts: Wednesday, November 16, 2022 to January 8, 2023, cosmetics brand WONDR care will temporarily open a physical pop-up store in Hasselt, at Maastrichterstraat 34. You can go there for all types of sustainable care products, including Christmas gifts. With this pop-up store, next to Dille and Kamille, WONDR care wants to introduce Hasselt to ecological and healthy cosmetics .
For two months, WONDR care will open its doors to introduce the general public to the concept of a low-waste bathroom. Through this temporary store, WONDR care wants to draw attention to trendy, healthy and environmentally friendly care.
“With the pop-up store in Hasselt we want to show the WONDR story to Hasselt. We already have some partners with other shops in the area, so we can make WONDR better known and we provide a flyer with the shops in the area that sell WONDR. So that when we are away, people can go there for healthy cosmetics. For us, health is a broad concept: healthy for people, animals and the planet. This step offers us the opportunity to pass on our passion for healthy and environmentally friendly products not only online, but also physically. Getting to know like-minded people who want to reduce their ecological footprint without sacrificing comfort is a big plus,” adds Tibbe Verschaffel, CEO (chief eco officer) of WONDR Care.
Look good, feel good, do good
WONDR care has existed online since March 2021. Since then, the brand has grown into a small one-stop shop for healthy cosmetics. For the second year in a row, everyone can visit the physical pop-up store to become acquainted with care products that are good for the body, society and the planet. Making healthy cosmetics attractive on various levels is therefore one of the brand's goals.
In addition to healthy ingredients, WONDR care products contain a serious portion of sustainability. The bars are made without plastic or palm oil and are biodegradable. WONDR care is also a socially committed brand that collaborates with various day centers throughout Flanders. All bars are packed by socially vulnerable groups.
The WONDR of gifting
During the months of November and December, WONDR care will participate in the campaign on deprivation of De Warmste Week with its own campaign 'The WONDR of Gifting'. For every gift box sold, WONDR care puts €1 in a piggy bank to donate to The Warmest Week. In this way, the company hopes to give everyone a warm Christmas period.
Last year the brand also committed itself to charities. For example, WONDR has donated 800 shampoo bars to Ghent organizations that work for people in poverty.
