ABOUT THE PEOPLE'S JURY

The jury's concept is simple yet powerful: two friends speculate irresponsibly about (un)solved murder cases. Laura Scheerlinck and Silke Vandenbroeck launched Belgium's first true crime podcast in 2017.

Today, with 400,000 listeners per month, the Volksjury is the most popular podcast in Belgium. That's a criminally good number! Laura Scheerlinck and Silke Vandenbroeck met during their studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels). Their shared passion for true crime led to the Volksjury, Belgium's first true crime podcast, being founded in 2017.

In addition to their podcast, they published two successful books and were awarded the Audience Award at the DS Podcast Festival.
