This bottle is okay. It's not much worse than the ones that sputter and goop all over you from unsustainable brands, but there are some improvements that need to happen for it to be at its full potential. I love the hand feel of the flexible silicone and fully understand why it was used for the main body of the bottle (please don't change this), but you are guaranteed to make a mess during the first few uses of your mixed solution due to reduced grip. This results in a lack of control over the dosage of the solution, and also results in more being used than necessary. The hard plastic could extend further down the bottle to mitigate this, but I would worry how that affects the ease of cleaning and (re)building of the bottle before refilling. Finally, I'm worried about the bending plastic breaking/snapping somewhere down the line. Yes, it will last longer than most commercial folding caps due to a longer bend of plastic, but it still is plastic.
